- THE BRISBANE FUTSAL LEAGUE IS BACK - SUMMER 2026 -  


The Brisbane Futsal League is on again for summer, which will be held over 5 Saturdays in term 3 & 4, 2026. First round kicks off Saturday 12th September, 2026 and is open to all junior teams who wish to compete or play at a higher level.

Brisbane Futsal League is back for Summer 2026 and is centrally located at Mt Warren Sports Centre.
Competition is open to all Clubs | Teams | Schools and games are played over 5 Saturday’s with each team to play a minimum 2 games every round. The top 4 teams in each age group will progress through to the finals, which will be played over a separate weekend to conclude the tournament.

There are 6 Age groups for this summer’s edition of BFL which are 8’s (Born 2018/19), 10's (2016/17), 12's 2014/15), & 14's (2012/13) Boys and 12's (Born 2014/15) & 14's (Born 2012/13) Girls. Cost to play is $200 / player if you are currently registered with AFA or $280 / player for all new teams (Includes Registration & Insurance).

Teams - 6 Teams per age group
Games -
Minimum 10 games (Every Team will play minimum 2 games each Saturday)
AGE GROUPS -
   Boys -
8’s (Born 2018/19), 10's (2016/17), 12's 2014/15) & 14's (2012/13) 

   Girls - 12's (Born 2014/15) & 14's (Born 2012/13)

OPEN - To all CLUBS | TEAMS | SCHOOLS
ONE CENTRAL VENUE -
  
Mount Warren Sports Centre, 2 Milne St, Mt Warren Park

Cost to Play - $200 / player if you are currently registered with AFA 

   or $280 / player for all new teams (Includes Registration & Insurance).

Dates - Saturday 12th Sep, 10th Oct, 31st Oct, 14th Nov, 21st Nov & 5th Dec, 2026

Prizes Include:

· Winners & Runners Up receive: Trophies & Medals

· Individual Awards: Tournament Best & Fairest (MVP) and Golden Boot in each age group

· Top Five: Recognition of the best 5 players in each age group

· Players have the opportunity to get selected for Rep Teams & International Squads

· Coaches have the chance to be identified for State & International Tours


Rules: 

   * All teams be there at least 20 minutes before 1st kick off

   * All players must wear shinpads   

   * All players must be nominated on the match sheet prior to first kick off

   * Player registrations must be paid prior to first kick off

   * To qualify for finals a player must play a minimum of 5 group games   

   * All games are 2 x 20 minute halves (Two minute half time / Run of the clock)    

   * Top four teams will progress through to the semi finals   

   * Winners of the semi final will progress through to Final   

   * Referees decision is Final 


Scoring: Win 3 Points, Draw 1 Point, Loss 0 Points & Forfeit -3 Points

Placings: In the event teams are tied on points the team with most goals for shall be placed higher    

Finals: In the event of a tie during a finals game, then a 5 minute extra time period will be played
             (one way, golden goal), if the game is still tied then a best of 3 Penalty Shootout will decide the winner.
