Age Categories

Age categories offered for Australian Futsal tournaments will vary based on region at the discretion of the Australian Futsal Association.

 

Female​

• 9 Girls – Born 2015 or Younger

• 10 Girls – Born 2014 or Younger

• 11 Girls - Born 2013 or Younger

• 12 Girls - Born 2012 or Younger

• 13 Girls - Born 2011 or Younger

• 14 Girls - Born 2010 or Younger

• 15 Girls - Born 2009 or Younger

• 16 Girls - Born 2008 or Younger

• 19 Girls - Born 2005 or Younger

 

Male​

• 9 Boys – Born 2015 or Younger

• 10 Boys – Born 2014 or Younger

• 11 Boys – Born 2013 or Younger

• 12 Boys – Born 2012 or Younger

• 13 Boys – Born 2011 or Younger

• 14 Boys – Born 2010 or Younger

• 15 Boys – Born 2009 or Younger

• 16 Boys – Born 2008 or Younger

• 19 Boys – Born 2005 or Younger

Please Note: If an age group is combined and you have a team within each age division, you cannot double up on players. For example, Jack is 13 years old and is nominated for the Under 13 AND Under 14 Boys competition. However the age group on that day had to become a combined Under 13/14 division. Jack can only play for one team. If your school nominates two teams in the one age group, players can only compete in their assigned team, not both.
