The Australian Men's Futsal Team met for their final training camp recently, ahead of the International Futsal Alliance Men's World Cup in China. The group gathered in Newcastle, New South Wales, where they were put through their paces and faced local opposition in a warm up match. Coach George Poulos said: “The players traveled in from across Australia and put in a good shift over the weekend. The team is starting to gel and we can’t wait for the tournament."
The training camp was shortly followed by the live draw for the group stages of the competition (click here to watch back). The Aussies were drawn in Group B alongside India, Mexico and Scotland.
